Ripdaydream: How would you describe your musical style and how has it evolved over the course of your career?

Kaygo The Kid: I actually was a melodic artist first and then as I kept progressing I switched over to just rapping old school flows and now my sound is more what I like to call Moshpit Noise.

Ripdaydream:Who are your biggest musical influences and how have they impacted your sound and style?

Kaygo The Kid: I would have to say Baby Keem, Logic, Iayze, Yeat and of course more but I do take bits and pieces of each of theses artists to create my sound.

Ripdaydream: What do you hope listeners take away from your music, and what messages do you aim to convey through your songs?

Ripdaydream: Can you share the story behind your latest single, "Way Back", and what inspired you during the creative process?

Kaygo The Kid: So I wanted to make "Way Back" to have a more personal song that explains a lil bit more about me has the person instead of the artist as well to bring back that old school hip pop vibe just to show my versatility.

Ripdaydream: I have seen that your progression in live performances has skyrocketed for you, from small crowds to now headlining your own tour. How do you prepare for live performances, and what do you enjoy most about connecting with your audience during shows?

Kaygo The Kid: I’ve been performing my entire life from singing Christmas songs in elementary to dancing on my middle school dance team so when it comes to preparation rehearsal is very important to me because that’s what builds the experience for my audience and when it comes to these shows just seeing my audience have fun is the most important thing to me and just talking with them and hearing the excitement in there voice.
